Not at all. I'm not fussy in the slightest and have no laundry list at all. I simply avoid the shirtless because, as others have said, it says "hookup" to me, and I want to avoid that 1

I had some good pics of myself, mostly activity photos doing fun and interesting things. I've read everywhere how putting up a shirtless bathroom selfie photo is the worst thing to do. Well I decided to put it to the test just for the hell of it. Now by all means I am not a bodybuilder, but I do workout so I do have some definition. I left the profile the same and all of a sudden, I started to get replies. Comments? Would love to hear from everyone, especially the ladies and your opinions on these types of photos. If that's the only change you've made then you've proved that some women like that shirtless bathroom selfie and that you've found a way to attract some women who like that shirtless bathroom selfie. Ruby Slippers Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 It's something that can make some women feel uncomfortable. Which would force you to spend more time making her comfortable again. Like maybe I'm wrong but I think if a shirtless guy put in the extra effort to make Ruby feel she wasn't just a hookup and was special she would come around to it. Yes, to get me to consider him and correspond with him, he would definitely have to make a special effort to convince me he wasn't looking for a hookup. Even then, I would really struggle to take him seriously. I agree that it reads like the desperate bikini picture from a woman. I've seen plenty of profiles of guys with their shirts on who are obviously fit and in great shape. One of my pictures is of me in a dress that hugs my figure and shows off the curves, without revealing a lot of skin. 2

Chopping wood shirtless, playing water polo or surfing, wearing just shorts while playing frisbee with the dog. I was contacted by a man who claims to be a photographer. Lots of beautiful shots taken around the world, none of him in the pic, yet the one of him is in his bedroom mirror. If techno challenged li'l ole me with a Coolpix camera can figure out how to set the timer to get a shot of myself on my sofa, you'd think a pro could, right? Makes me think those were fake landscape photos at the very least. 1

I don't online date but whenever I google search a guy i think is hot I always put it in like "Bradley Cooper shirtless" Because it matters.

A woman who enjoys sex and who has sex with many men is a slut. Both men and woman may be accused of being superficial if they admit that they're really turned on by a banging physique. I don't really listen to what women say they do or do not like. I judge by the results in real life. That said, not all women are the same but it's possible to observe common characteristics In my experience, most women are turned on by a great male physique. This is common sense 1

Once I got over my initial negative reaction to the shirtless selfies, I just started enjoying them when they popped up. Yes, there are a lot of sexy men out there, and they're a joy to behold! But I'm not there to see half-naked men. Anywhere I meet dating prospects "in the wild", we are all fully clothed. I'm messaging with a guy right now whose main picture is him shirtless - but he's doing something, hoisting himself out of a pool with a big cheesy grin, like "pick me!" haha I admit the sight of his body is mesmerizing. He's hot! But to me, it's a turn-off to consider that he's flashing that naked torso all over the dating site. I would much rather have hints of it now, then get his hotness all to myself once the clothes come off. Just a question of taste.

This is common sense A woman can find someone's body attractive, and still have sense enough to know whether or not she should actually date this person. Because shirtless pics, to me, indicate that a man is likely wanting to hook up, I avoid him, because I have no interest in hooking up, or taking a risk and finding out the hard way. It has nothing to do with me finding his body attractive or not. It's just risk avoidance. 1

I prefer to date women, not girls. You don't need a shirtless pic to attract a woman to your looks. 1
