Hunter65hh Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 New here, So I broke up with my ex of almost four years approximately five months ago. I broke it off with her because I wanted to see what else was out there and now totally regret it!! For three years of our relationship it a long distance. Now, moving back to my hometown I can't get over who I was and how I ended. I just can't seam to move on. One day I feel fine and the next I feel like total crap. Time has helped but I feel like a take a step forward and several back. Any insight would be appreciated.
Ducktape Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) Then contact her? Come clean, tell her you've made a terrible mistake and that you want to have a second chance? If she agrees, work hard to get her back and to keep her. If she denies it, learn from your mistake to cherish what you have and let her be happy without you. PS: Make sure you want her back and regret the break up for the right reason. Don't go back to her because your life is a mess. Your life is a mess because YOUR life is a mess, not because she's not with you anymore! Edited November 19, 2014 by Ducktape Forgot the PS
Author Hunter65hh Posted November 19, 2014 Author Posted November 19, 2014 Well, I've tried to get her back but from what she says she's happy with someone new... I've came to the conclusion that I need to give her her space and let her know that I'll be here if she wants to try again but I know I can't hold my breath on that.
Ducktape Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Waiting on someone who's happy without you is several steps back indeed. You gotta move on.
