Jadedbyluv Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 I know it is quite common and almost acceptable to just disappear after a few dates with someone anymore. It has happened to me many times, and I'm starting to wonder if it is just me. I recently went on a few dates with this guy, and I was starting to like him. After our last date, we talked about getting together sometime again soon. Then absolutely nothing from him. He even said he was a guy who cuts through the bs and is upfront so why not just be upfront with me? It's just confusing since we talked about going out again. I keep playing the last date over again to see if there was something I've said or done. Since I haven't heard from him, I can only assume I won't hear from him at all. I try to not take this personally but it keeps happening so I wonder if it maybe is me. Why is it so hard to be honest with people?

Its tiring being the guy and always having to initiate everything and its nice to know that someone likes you back or wants to talk to you without having to text them first (works both ways) Seriously sometimes I don't get it. If you want to talk to someone then talk to them, don't just wait for him to talk to you. He is probably thinking you aren't interested if you don't text/call him to see how he is. Communication. I don't mean to sound rude about it if I did.

I don't mean to sound rude about it if I did. I actually did communicate with him. I texted him with no response. I showed my interest. His lack of response shows me that he isn't feeling the same way.
