illiniman Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Everything was going so well and last Friday night she broke up with me. She really didn't give a reason just that it couldn't go on. She did mention the fact that she was graduating college in 2 months and might be moving away for a career. I was shocked and couldnt register it. We had been together for 7 months and it was going well. I talked to her a bit Saturday about it and she seemed more to understand about us staying together. I'm going to see her Friday and plan on fighting for our relationship to keep it going. Is it to late though waiting a week? Id rather do it in person over text or phone call.
d0nnivain Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 It's not about you & it's nothing to fight for. When she graduates she does not want to take any part of her school life forward into the next phase her her life. 1
Invictus01 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Dude, it would be the wrong move. Think about it this way. If it was you who were doing the dumping for whatever reason and after than happened, she wouldn't leave you alone. Would that make you change your mind? It would make you run even farther. The only chance you have in this is to leave her alone and whatever happens happens. That is all.

PegNosePete Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 i disagree. tell her how you feel But she already knows. Telling her over and over will achieve nothing except to annoy her.

SoThatHappened Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 You can fight for it, tell her how you feel, and leave the ball in her court. Unfortunately, the likelihood of keeping her is slim. Your best bet is to end things amicably and wish her the best. You're both young and she's moving away. Not much help if you want to continue a relationship. Honestly, the best thing you can do is to end things on good terms so she sees you in a good light. That's it. You'll look back and won't regret it down the road. 1

Invictus01 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Just don't give up Whether he gives up or not doesn't really matter. What matters is what she does. If he doesn't let her be, she will run away. Been there, done Hollywood type crap, never works. Trust me.
