Hey guys!

I want some advice to see how to start a conversation with a girl, that I haven't talk to in a long time, we met about 3 years ago but then I satrt to talk to someone else and end up being with that person for 3 years, but now I'm ready to start talking to other girls, but I just don't how yet. So I basically going to write this her through a direct message on Instagram because I found and I followed her and she followed back, and this what I'm planing to write to her.

"Hey! I don't know if you remember me, but we met long time ago, when you used to work for Aeropostale. Just want to see how you doing and maybe we could friend again?"

So what you think?

Don't mention being friends. Say you have been thinking about her and would she be interested in meeting for coffee to catch up on your lives?

"Hey! It's been a while. Say, I've been having a wee issue lately with starting conversations with old acquaintances. Do you have any tips?"

Hell, you could say "Cucumber belly flop pumpernickel bus stop" in just the right way and get a conversation going.

What you posted is OK. Just change the word friend to "chat" or "hang out."

Yeah, put some guts on saying that on her. Maybe after you say that to her ask her to go out.

Most women don't really like the super humble approach. It's better to risk her not knowing who you are than showing her you think you're forgettable.

You could always bring up an experience about Aeropostal you would both remember. Ie "Haha you remember that dorky guy who used to come in?". It would remind her while at the same time project confidence.

And don't ask for the number in the first message, let her write you back first.

Nope. Here's a better one, free of charge:

"Hey, it's [insert your name]. We met a few years ago at Aeropostale. I thought you were pretty cool and I found you interesting, but we lost touch. How have you've been?"

It has confidence, a genuine compliment, and expresses your interest beyond being just friends. This message may lead to sex and a relationship.
