Woz Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I have severed all ties with the MM I had an affair with. Totally and completely. We have not spoken in almost six months. (And I am VERY proud of the fact that I am finally doing something right.) I don't spend time thinking about him or missing him. In fact, he is dead to me. I have just come to the understanding that he no longer exists. It has to be this way, and I am okay with it. The problem is that I have started to dream about him at night. It really pisses me off that this is happening. I am on the right track, I am not doing anything wrong, I am not rekindling memories, NOTHING. So why is he resurfacing in my dreams? If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it tremendously. I have straightened myself out and have not even thought about straying, not for one second.

Take it like this: sometimes we dream about red ridinghood...sometimes about plane crash...sometimes about someone we knew when we were 5 years old and never seen that person again in our life ...and sometimes about presidents...sometimes ex lovers ...no big deal
whichwayisup Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I dreamt about my ex boyfriend on and off for about 2 months after we broke up during my teenaged years... Freaked me out because we never kept in touch and I never thought of him...I felt the same way as you - WHY would I be dreaming of him??? Sometimes dreams are just dreams and don't mean anything. I would not try to figure out why you are dreaming of him, because if you do some unnecessary thoughts/feelings may come back. Isn't worth it.
Sad Flower Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 WOZ Same thing recently happened to me...MM was off my mind and I am moving on suddenly I have a sexual dream about him, I was pissed but didn't know exactly who to be pissed @..The dream fairy?!?!? I'm trying to move on and the dream is not helping me!!

For example, the last two months I have had a couple of dreams about a woman I had an incredible spark with, but both of us were in relationships at the time, and we went our seperate ways. With my divorce looming these dreams began. But I wasn't dreaming of her, she represented the opportunity to find a new relationship with that kind of "spark". So what does the MM represent to you?

I have dreams all the time and then wake up scared to death cuz I dunno how those people got in there And I've been done with my MM for over a year now.. and he still pops into the dreams now and then
