KFuPanda Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I threw a party for my birthday... There was a girl there that I sort have had a crush on for a month or so now. We've known each other for three months. We are tandem partners (trying to each each other language) and we meet in a beer. The first night was awesome, we were very comfortable with each other so we met about once a week for a month and a half. One night we went out with some of my friends from different English speaking nations so I invited her, it would be good practice to hear an aussie, american, and british guy all at the same time. We got pretty toasted and I opened up to her about a girl I liked at the time. She talked to me about a guy she had a crush on. But we weirdly became very flirty that night. To the point my friends mentioned it the next day how we were both obviously into each other. I started thinking about her like that, and after the next couple of meetings, I realized I am attracted to her. Well, at my party, she asked to see my apartment, so we went there alone. She saw my guitar, asked me to play her something.... I mean it was one of those, she won't say no moments. I went in for a kiss, she quickly pulled back and giggled and said that I was just being drunk. I told her it wasn't because I was drunk, but that I had a crush on her for a bit now, and she said that I should stick to my other girl. I told her that things didn't work out between us. I don't think she was very drunk at all, but I was. Is it possible that she may still be interested but thought I was just being drunk and horny? Or is this pretty much rejection? The other guy she has a crush on lives in a different country and she is not sure how things are between them. She could just still be in it for him. I told her I hoped she wasn't offended the next day and she said she wasn't at all, how could she be? I guess she appreciates my attention
evanescentworld Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 She's not free. Not until she says so. She was stone-cold sober. She rejected you, and it means 'no', so take it as that, firmly, definitely. Because what you do sober speaks volumes. And sadly, what you do drunk, can often speak volumes about the drunk.
