Every single day she texts me with "Good morning! :)" - even if she's tired, she'll say it, then head back to sleep. When I'm asleep, and she knows I'm asleep, she'll text things like, "You should wake up. Lol."

She'll even call me "Dear" and "Cutie". She said I was incredibly cute too.

Anyway, we work together and she avoided eye contact with me. 100%. Which I found either really bad, or really good. Overall, she just seemed incredibly uninterested, but a tad nervous at the same time.

Often times though, she'll also dodge questions/comments via text and sometimes even replies as if she's disinterested (eg: I'll write something and she'd reply, with something lackluster or 3-4-worded; leaving me to be the one to make the conversations begin.

She often starts conversations via text, and when I don't reply she'll reply again, as if to continue the conversation.

I asked her out, and she said she needs more time. So?

Is there anything here which SCREAMS interested? Anything here which pretty much would make any negative void?

The "Good morning! :)" Texts seem pretty solid though. I can't think of someone just sending that to ANYONE.

I don't know why she says she needs more time though.

I should add we don't know each other all that well yet. Could that be why?

Don't laugh. about 3-4 weeks. We work together but we don't get to talk that often on the clock, so we leave it to texting. She knows I like her though, and she still texts me "good morning :)" and everything.

After reading so many posts on this board about people who are just texting everyone all day, I'd say it's even possible you're just one of many people she texts all day.

I'd say it's a pretty good guess that you aren't the only guy on her radar. I hope you like competition because it sounds like she likes to have a lot of guys chasing her.

She sounds childish to me. That's too much texting & too many terms of endearment for the amount of time you have known each other. She has things backwards imo. She should go somewhere on a date & get to know you before she starts texting you all the time & knowing your sleep patterns.

Ask her for coffee or to have lunch. Impress upon her that you need to spend time together & not just test to determine if there is potential for a relationship but now having a beverage for an hour is the only "commitment" you are seeking.
