EC Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I worked at an italian restaurant and a mexican one. On The Border. Some of the best years I have ever had at a work place. You work, meet a lot of people, and I would always go out with my co-workers on the weekends after closing. What sucks is you have to work weekends sometimes till late..but I mean I made good money. On a good weekend I would make almost 500 dollars.
katie79 Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 I think waiter/waitressing is a tough job. I know I could never do it! My fiance does that part-time on the weekends. It's not easy. You have to "sell yourself" for tips. Much a$$ kissing occurs. Good luck!
jellybean Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 waiting tables Hiya neighbor.... It's hard work, joel. And if you want to be successful at making good tips - you are really gonna have to turn on the 'charm'. There's lots of funky, casual, fun-type restaurants in this city...have you submitted any applications yet?
