I carry more of my weight in my lower half of my tummy. I gain a lot in my bust as well. But currently I'm only a 36B. When I was heavier I was a 38F. But when I'm skinny my boobs aren't really that prominent. I have a small waist line. It's about 27" so flat but my lower belly is 35" and In clothing people assume Its my hips but it's actually my lower abdomen it's actually a roll of fat and in tight jeans it spills over so I have to wear a longer shirt so it doesn't look that bad. I am not even fat my bmi is 20. I just always have extra weight on my lower stomach whether I'm skinny or full figured. It emphasizes my waistline in clothing but without it's obviously not my hips. My hips aren't that wide and very slim 36" but it's mainly my hip bones because my butt's really flat. But I don't really get why I tend to get male attention for my figure. Which is why I'm asking is it a turn on or turn of if a girl has an extra tummy roll even if without having a butt aloe big boobs?

You probably don't attract male attention FOR your belly roll. With a BMI of 20 probably your "roll" is mostly imaginary.

it's a turn on when a woman has a figure and not many women realize it's better to have some fat than none at all. real men know women have curves and are not stick figures naturally. haven't you seen those women with rolls of fat in halters or bikinis? men still look because it's a body.

I have a small waist I just have an extra layer below my belly button. I must have used Imaginary measuring tape as well.

I was saying I think they assume my roll is part of my hips in some clothing because my waist looks exaggeratedly small because of my bulge right below.

Plus it's not my waistline.

At the end of the day, I'm a face guy. Body is secondary (unless it's just a hookup) to me, but with that being said, I do pay attention to weight. If a girl has weight issues in her 20s, more than likely, she will have larger weight issues in her 30s and so on. With that being said, i have definitely dated women with a few extra pounds on them.

Yeah I've never been overweight really but my mom started to struggle with her weight in her 30's but I think everyone puts on weight they age. That's just nature.

I suspect it's your hip to waist ratio that they guys like.

It doesn't matter too much what actual size you are but hip to waist ratio is of importance when it comes to attraction.

Same for men too.

Though sadly most men my age who are single measure 'under' their tummy.... Lol!

Boo! My emoticons don't work anymore!!

My waist to hip ratio isn't low at all really. .75. I don't gain weight on my hips much they're pretty slim my bone structure kind of can look wide because it's 16 inches wide but that's just because my butt is flat. My hips are about the same size as my roll also. My hips are 36". While my lower tummy is 35". My hips don't have much weight on them so it's not curves just bone structure.

Every guy has their own taste.

You might be one guy's "meh," but another guy's "WOAH!"

That's all that matters.

I don't think you should bother yourself with measurements and particulars. Especially don't go around discussing this publicly-- it makes you look like you have self esteem issues (which isn't sexy).

nv19 if your belly fat was like this and not like this then I think you have a right to worry why men may not be attracted to your body. Besides, men are attracted to self-confidence more than a perfect body. Well, the right kind of guys who aren't shallow are, anyway.

well I personally am not even into guys currently. I was just asking because I've always gotten male attention for having "curves". Yet I don't really see how I do. So I concluded it had to do with my lower waistline.

36-27-36 explains your curves.

I doubt they are talking about one part, but rather the whole silhouette.

No my waistline looks like neither of those more in the middle when I sit maybe like the first but only my lower stomach though.

The waistline in this photo is the same as how my waistline looks

No, it's overeating and being more sedentary.

turn off. You'll only attract males that are on your league, aka, guys that are happy to get ANYTHING.

Please try to lose that weight. Guys like slim women. It's fact.

My measurements are actually 38-27-36. I'm actually more a top heavy silhouette. It shows when I gain weight especially. Now though I sometimes appear more hour glassy since my boobs are so much smaller but I think I look more like a rectangle because I don't have the cushion an hourglass has on the hips and bustetc.

People need to stop with this "real men" and "real women" garbage.

Humans are all built differently.

There are women who naturally are very skinny and actually TRY VERY HARD to put on weight. My mother is like that. She is naturally very thin, and drinks weight gain shakes to try to get some more on her.

There is NO STANDARD for what women "naturally" are.

Yes, metabolism kicks in, but I don't believe in just letting go of myself.

I'm going on 40 and I work out on the regular. I have a 3 pack. The cellulite is hard to fight, but I'm lean and mean. Sometimes I hate flexing in the mirror so I don't try to bulk up much and start looking like a dude.

I like wearing a nice sexy dress. I like being able to have a belly ring. Quite frankly when I got that belly ring over a decade ago, I got it also as an incentive to keep my belly flat.

While I'm not seeing anyone right now, I like looking sexy for my guy. I believe that's my "gift" to him. I also like being "physical" with my guy (channeling Olivia Newton-John).

There's also women in their freakin' 60's who work out harder than me. They are my inspiration. I like their honesty and frankness about how they hate working out - but they just "do it".

Also, exercise and being active is good for your health, mood, and sex life.
