Ashley S Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 It's strange to me because me and my friend Ian hate this guy named Nick. Nick is a mean person with a drug addiction, I felt sorry for him for awhile, but it's hard to feel sorry for someone who is so mean, and insulting! Well Nick has nothing going for him, he's a total bum, and does drugs, and looks terrible, the whole nine. Well my friend Ian is better than him in the sense that he is not mean like him and doesn't do drugs, but he is also a bum is his own way. Well Ian said something weird to me, he said "I got a car, I always told myself to outdo Nick and get a car. If I get a car, I am one step ahead of him" That made no sense to me! Because Nick doesn't even have a car. I never knew that Ian compared himself to Nick. Why? Do guys compare themselves to other males like that? It's weird because Nick is a bum and a loser, and has absolutely nothing going for him, so why is Ian in "competition" with Nick? It would be one thing if Nick was a super successful guy and had everything going for him then I could see Ian trying to outdo Nick, but that's not the case. I wonder why he feels like he needs to outdo him?
DrReplyInRhymes Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Some people live life with a chip on their shoulder, they compare themselves to other men as they grow older, Although, it's an innate trait to want to be better than your neighbor The people who constantly do this turn it into labor. One day he will mature, and he won't judge his fellow man, He will have core beliefs, and for those he will stand. It's called self-actualization, a journey I hope everyone will make, It's a wonderful thing, to be happy with yourself when you awake.
