Jet Lag Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 It is my birthday tomorrow and I really hope I get a birthday text. I know I am not supposed to want that...but I think I will be really really sad if it doesn't get acknowledged at all.
PegNosePete Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 What will you do, if you don't get a message? What will you do, if you do?
Author Jet Lag Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 What will you do, if you don't get a message? What will you do, if you do? Hmmm... I guess it depends what is written. Oh, I don't know. In a way I would love to not respond. It may give me a feeling of power. But, out of politeness maybe I would say thanks. Figuring it is unlikely to happen anyway. ,,
Jackson37 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Can you update tomorrow?? My birthday is coming up and it would be good to see what you ended up doing
d0nnivain Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 You want what you want but you probably won't get the text. If you are broken up, you are "strangers" no longer in each others lives. Do you often send birthday greetings to people you don't know? FWIW, happy birthday. When you blow out your candles, wish for peace in your soul. 1

My birthday is coming up and it would be good to see what you ended up doing Hey Jackson Well, he did message. I haven't opened it yet but pretty sure it just says, "Hey, happy birthday. X" I figure I will just ignore it. Pretty generic. I am happy that he wrote it though. Sometimes I think he doesn't think of me at all yet I am thinking of him way too much of the time so it gave me a little peace to know he still thinks of me, at least occasionally. Good luck with yours.
Author Jet Lag Posted November 14, 2014 Author Posted November 14, 2014 Happy early birthday <3 Thank you. One of the hardest things about being single is not being recognised with these sort of things. Luckily my kids have been very attentive...and I have had lots of friends give me birthday wishes. 1

Went to counselling this week and hope I am heading in the right direction. 1
