how many more days, weeks, months, and years would you have been chasing your ex, and contacting them?

 

Dear God, I shutter at the thought of me being her lap dog for months, and years, and being in the initial break up pain for WAY LONGER than I'd have to.

 

Random thread is random. Feel good today, and truly starting to reap the benefits of NC.

 

P.S. If you try and cheat the system by sneaking quick peeks at their social media stuff, you're screwed, and never going to get over your ex. TRUST ME. I finally tried true NC, and holy crap it's like some miracle pill!

Truth is, people probably would (and do) keep talking to their ex during the breadcrumb stage. They get burned enough time to qualify second or third degree until they finally start licking their wounds with their tails between their legs.

 

I know I sure did. Again and again. Would rather throw the ball in their court repeatedly so I could move on knowing there was nothing more I could do.

This website has been my saving grace. Honestly, it should win some sort of Nobel Prize. When family, friends and acquaintances can no longer be bothered with hearing all of the fears and insecurities you suffer in interpersonal relationships, LoveShack gathers its loving arms underneath you.

 

I also feel like it has been a kind of Emotional University for me. I've learned about boundaries, self-love, identifying red flags and what love may look like.

 

I've just re-started true NC after faltering glances at her social media these past few months. I'm hoping for the best.

I agree 100%. I started TRUE NC 13 days ago and felt so wrong doing it. It was literally draining the life out of me. I found this site yesterday, made my initial post and have been reading this site pretty much ever since. BEST thing I've ever done!! The people on here are great.
