frozengirl Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I know I am picky when it comes to dating but how picky is too picky? I know there are people out there who have picky things about the person they want to date. How picky are you or do you know of those who are picky?

irc333 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 When what you ask for doesn't actually exist or if you can't live up to your own standards. Right, or let's say you have shortcomings yourself you fail to recognize when you expect more than expected from your prospect.
Keenly Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Any one person may be as picky as their options allow. 1
Eighty_nine Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I think its about following your gut. I'm seeing a guy I wasn't super attracted to at first, but my intuition made me like him. Just a positive feeling wbout him. And now my attraction to him has grown very significantly, he turns me on, respects me, is smart and funny and polite. Had I been super picky about a certain look I wouldn't have seen him again and would have really missed out. 1
Leigh 87 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I am told I am too picky because I don't want or need a relationship and therefore, for me to settle with one person long term, I would need not only sizzling chemistry but also a loyal and decent man. I am told that seeking high chemistry that is instant, plus a loyal and loving life partner, is not possible for 99.9% of us..... I don't even care what they look like or what job they do either so I don't think I am too picky but others do....
DrReplyInRhymes Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Fact is, I believe what people have to say, Even if their actions seem to be waylaid. Only in a discovered lie is the truth finally told. you realize you never really had any control. To be picky is to exclude, for good reason you may add, But I insist to open horizons, and do not be sad, when someone uses you, and doesn't return the sincere affection, for it's not your character they show in the reflection.
d0nnivain Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 It depends on what you are being picky about. If you have this huge check list filled with specifics: height, weigh, hair color, eye color, profession, religion, age, political leanings etc. you may be too picky but if you are searching for a nice person, you find attractive, who is fun to be around, that is hard to find but it's not too picky. 1
