He told me that he met someone else that he really likes,how do I cope?

We live 4 hours apart and been on and off for few years. We had a strong connection but the distance was always in the way so it would be too much for him and he would broke it off but we would reconnect after some time.

 

However, we have been trying to see each other for a while but something always came up. He lost his job and didn't have money to see me but he found another job after 2 months. He started being distance and I had feeling something was up so I asked her if he is with someone and to my horror he said yes. He told me that he just started seeing her and he likes her a lot.

 

It completely destroyed me since I was still hoping I will see him and I thought we had future together. I just cant stop crying .I completely lost my appetite and I didn't even eat dinner last night. Words cant describe how I am feeling right now.I told him that I want to cut off contact as this is painful for me

 

 

I feel hopeless and helpless,I have lost my appetite and loss in interest of daily activity living.How can I make this awful feeling go away and feel better again? How did you cope with knowing the person who was part of your life with someone that they really like?

You look at this logically. It wasn't meant to be. There were too many obstacles especially the distance.

 

You pick yourself up, brush yourself off & find somebody local.
