tokyo Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Tiki, I didn't like the shirt, but the rest was ok. I think if you don't come with flannel shirt and jeans with holes you will look ok. Tug your shirt in your pants, unless it's some ethnic stuff (I guess, your shirt with the banded collar might be one of those) or one of those that you can leave outside. By the way, I think we are not allowed to post commercial links or so? I'm not sure, I don't post links that often.

Author SleepingLover Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 Originally posted by kooky http://www.nortonmotors.de/prominenz%20gb.htm He should wear stuff like this, it's so simple, but I don't know, he looks so great in it. Leather pants? Really? Not that I don't like it, I love leather pants, but I would have always thought to stear away from that on a date... shows how much I know
tiki Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 No, SL....don't wear leather pants. I think only K. Reeves can pull that one off!
Impressive1 Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Just go naked... hahaa sorry I'm a pervert lol
Impressive1 Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 To be honest, I don't think she could be more impressed than to know that you posted this question.
Author SleepingLover Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 Ok LOL! I thought steering away from them would be a good idea hehe. Ok here is the gist. I'm seriously considering asking this young lady out. She is a fashion conscious woman, but casually so. The lady, in question, is very down to earth and I have never seen her "dress up" so to speak, but I know she loves fashionable clothes and dress. I often wear jeans, with either a nice turtle neck and pullover or a trendy button up shirt. However, if and when we go out I'd like to be just a little over my ordinary daily wear that she is accustomed to seeing me in. At the moment I'm not sure where we will go. She is a very simple person and enjoys simple things. She doesn't like the bar or club scene (which I don't either), but she enjoys things like going to a movie, watching movies at home, a nice dinner etc. I'm thinking of maybe throwing a little fun in as well. We have a Putt Putt golf place which is pretty popular and they have go cart racing which might add a little fun to the evening. I figure if the date goes well, I might see if she is privvy to something like that. I don't think it would be fun to sit in a go cart though, with some tight uncomfortable clothes on heheh. So, I'm thinking that some of your answers are what I have been looking for.. Just to be on the safe side hehe.
alphamale Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 well SLEEPINGLOVER, from a male point of view a nice pair of black slacks with nice italian shoes and a light colored dress shirt will never fail. if you want dress it up put on a sport coat.
tiki Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Three piece suit + go karts = no. Go metrosexual. It's hot and irresistible.

Don't take advice from alpha!! He hangs out in gay bars. And he's almost forty.

alicia24 Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 My first date with my BF. He had a really hot pair of Diesel jeans, and a really nice CK sweater and he smelled sooooo good. and of course a nice pair of balck clean casual shoes. He is so hot.
ReluctantRomeo Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Originally posted by tiki Don't take advice from alpha!! He hangs out in gay bars. Surely this is exactly the place to pick up fashion tips?!? Although anything involving PVC, leather or unusually-placed holes is a no-no
Author SleepingLover Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 LOL Romeo... you might be onto something there! Queer bar for the straight guy? Just doesn't ring right heheh

Donut Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 How about Jeans, a nice plain V neck shirt or sweater, with either black shoes or smart trainers. Such a nice look, uncomplicated, understated sexiness. The second one of the guy in black trousers and a white (turtleneck?) shirt was just too Simon Cowell for me.
Mz. Pixie Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 If you're going casual a nice pair of jeans, and a crisp dress shirt (colored) works for me everytime. You could throw on a casual sports coat. You can always take that off and leave it in the car when you're riding go carts. And I agree, no tennis shoes- boots, or doc martens.
moimeme Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Black casual pants, a nice shirt - can't go wrong. Or you can go beige/khaki if it's even more casual. As for turtlenecks, me I always thought that a guy in a turtleneck and jacket looked exceedingly hot.
Author SleepingLover Posted March 17, 2005 Author Posted March 17, 2005 I was thinking a jacket and turtleneck too Moi
ReluctantRomeo Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Don't take Donut's advice! Just look at what the male models in her avatar are wearing
Donut Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I'll have you know that Bert and Ernie are wearing very classy threads! Lol
