Frank2thepoint Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Had a long long fun talk with him last night for hours, don't really want to break up with him at all anymore. Just to be the devil's advocate, what if tomorrow your boyfriend is boring again? What then? Reconsider breaking up with him?
BlueIris Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but having new eyes." -Proust This is it. “I’m bored” is a confession, not an accusation. Being bored is internal. 1

Honey, grow up, gain some substance and then play in the adult world of relationships. I say that with love and with humor of myself when I was young. You are being shallow and vapid and don't know what you want let alone who you are. Go, experience life, learn some life lessons, get humble, and THEN come back to a relationship. This poor boy. He is going to have a headful of grey hair by the time you are done with him.
Author Thegreatestthing Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 I have plenty of substance and depth I don't know what you're saying.I merely question if me and my bf have that necessAry spark together, but at the moment I'm happy in the relationship. nextsteps Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I'm in the same boat, only there is no other man in the picture. I want to stay in a good relationship but I don't know how to proceed with feeling so bored and uninspired by my relationship. He is very happy with everything, with me, with us and doesn't know what the problem is. The kindest guy ever. Let me know when you find a solution. 1

Right there. That is the depth I am saying is lacking. Happiness to the level of breaking up shouldn't be on a whim depending on how you are feeling in just a day. If you are deciding if you love him day to day then you don't and you should break up.
