Georgia2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I went to a store near new my apartment and there was a cashier he wasn't the one ringing my stuff up. He was at the cashier's station though. I think due to how he looked at me I think he likes me. What should I do? I don't want to make the first move because I go this store a lot. Is the only thing I can do is smile and be nice? How can I let him know I like him without being obvious about it?
clia Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 What makes you think he likes you? Are you sure he wasn't just being polite...as cashiers are required to do as part of their job?

Are you sure he wasn't just being polite...as cashiers are required to do as part of their job? Like I said in my post the way he looked at me. Cashiers aren't required to look at you the certain way he did me. A person knows when someone is looking at them because they like them. You are a real downer saying what makes me think he likes you? Are you saying I'm not good enough to be liked by a cashier? I do have sense of feeling vibes. Some people notice vibes being given by other people more than others. I could tell from his vibe he likes me. I am very sensitive to vibes.

Gezz calm down that post was only asking a logical question I don't think it was meant as a personal insult. And tbh it made sense retail is a customer service job were your suppose to make the customer feel welcomed and happy so they spend more in your store! Not every one who smiles at us is interested in a romantic relashionship if you feel this dude is awesome I suggest u talk to him and find out for sure..
smackie9 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 OMG is this the same guy at walmart? How about this....say "hi, (read his name tag) how is your night going? *smile*. start small talk.

smackie9 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 No this is at a different store. I did talk to the guy at Walmart he is seeing someone. OK so why not talk to this new guy the same way you did with the other one?
amaysngrace Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Go to his check out lane and see if he gives you some stuff for free. If he doesn't then he does not like you.
Author Georgia2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 OK so why not talk to this new guy the same way you did with the other one? I don't want to feel weird when I go in there if it doesn't work. Plus at this store there would be to many people around. Where as at Walmart the cashier was alone.
Author Georgia2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 Go to his check out lane and see if he gives you some stuff for free. If he doesn't then he does not like you. That wouldn't prove he likes me. Plus I wouldn't want him to give me stuff for free that doesn't belong to him.
amaysngrace Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 That wouldn't prove he likes me. Plus I wouldn't want him to give me stuff for free that doesn't belong to him. Yea it does. It totally proves it. Plus it shows you that he trusts you not to tell his boss.
Author Georgia2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 Yea it does. It totally proves it. Plus it shows you that he trusts you not to tell his boss. If he did that it would just show me that he is dishonest and a thief.
amaysngrace Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 If he did that it would just show me that he is dishonest and a thief. Or that he likes you.
smackie9 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Is there not a place where you can meet men? or online dating. I hear woman have more of an advantage than men do. 1

Author Georgia2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 Is there not a place where you can meet men? or online dating. I hear woman have more of an advantage than men do. Online dating sucks. I have profiles but there are not many men in my county on there.
Author Georgia2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 Expect them to cash in on you What do you mean by that statement?
Author Georgia2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 How can I let him know I am interested in him but so it won't be awkward when I go in there if it shouldn't work out? I go in there often.
smackie9 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Online dating sucks. I have profiles but there are not many men in my county on there. Surely there must be social events or places you could go to meet people. Your chances would be better because meeting someone is an expectation at a dance hall, festival, club, park, etc, not at a store.
