jmc3589 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Hey guys! So I had a peculiar situation I wanted to see what y'alls thoughts were. I've been dating this girl for about a few weeks now. We had a fourth date that went really really well, I walked her to the door and pulled the good old goodnight kiss. I texted her to set up the next date and she informed me she had to go out of town for work for a whole week, and since we can only meet on weekends this put the distance between that date and the next one at 2 weeks apart. We had texted intermittently in that two week periods making jokes flirting etc. We just had that next date today (again 2 weeks from the first kiss date) and she seemed to absolutely love it, and she had brought me a little gift from where she was at. When the date came to an end we had a REALLY awkward exchange which saw me kiss her cheek and we said our goodbyes. The best way I can explain it is I had gone in for the kiss much like last time but she kind of hugged me??? Do you guys think the 2 weeks in between dates killed the momentum?? 1

Maybe you can decide how it goes after meeting for the next date. 2 weeks isn't a long time to kill anything i guess. Maybe she was shy and felt as bad as you. Most of the time, we regret what we did and replay the scenario in our minds and try to imagine what we could had done instead. Maybe she's thinking exactly the same thing as you right now. But instead of worrying, why don't you focus on trying to set up another date? If she's not into you, be glad that she didn't waste your time and it allows you to find your right one sooner! If it works, good for you. Don't worry too much, just talk to her.

Naa, I just think you gauged it wrong. If the kiss isnt there, dont go for it man. But I dont think you lost any points
