Is that always a clear telltale sign that she's seeing that guy as more than friends and is about to be in a relationship with him? There is this Christian girl I started to really like, and just now I saw that she updated her status and it said "feeling blessed with (guy's name)". I'm feeling heartbroken right now. :(

right now her relationship status shows that she's single, but because of the "feeling blessed" status, I am so worried that she is seeing someone already and is about to be taken.

Honestly that could mean anything, you shouldn't take what's on Facebook so seriously. If you want to know definitively, ask her.

Scenario A) she's totally madly in love with Jake, he's so awesome that she's feeling blessed and feels the need to shout it out on Facebook

Scenario B) her and Jake just landed free fish and chips as the shop was going, shes feeling pretty lucky and wants to share that with Facebook

If people were more direct and less worried about second guessing every little thing people do while saying nothing then you could probably solve half the worlds issues!!

Has to be fish and chips. I'd be feeling pretty damn blessed myself dammit!

Did someone say fish and chips? Make sure mine a nice wicked Cod with chips on a piece of paper of course ;)

@OP....Never get involved with someone who is wrapped up in Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You are bound to lose them thru those means

a) It is an expression. I have posted the same words with zero romantic notions and have seen it posted about boy/girlfriends, husband/wife, parent/child etc.

b) Ask

c) You state she is Christian? Are you also?

Not a good position to be so into a woman before she has even gone on a date with you. I wouldn't worry about her "status". If you're interested then make your move and get it over with. Time's a wastin'.

My daughter posted that exact same thing not long ago. She was visiting a male friend in hospital. She was feeling very blessed that he had escaped a serious accident with only minor injuries. You need to check out the exact reasons for the post before jumping to conclusions OP.
