There's no way handshake is an option haha. That's way too lame! What do you guys think? This would be my first date from online dating that's why I ask. What's the usual? I'm guessing a quick hug right? Seems the most appropriate way. Would like some input. Thanks!

I always make the point to put this out there because I am sincerely a hugger as well as the 3 kisses on the cheek because I come from Europe. Follow up with a not so cheesy compliment of her, and then how her day was. A hug is also a good way to break the ice and warm/fill them up early. What's the alternative, a handshake? I am also touchy feely, so if she says something funny, I am more likely to touch her on the arm/shoulder while I laugh. Be sure to maintain eye contact, listen and don't make it all about you. If all this goes well, chances are you will get to 1st base, and if you are really good at it, 3rd base (but you have to be really good).

If possible, select the tree beforehand and urinate at its base, thus marking your territory and asserting your dominance. Bar your teeth at any other males who attempt to mate with your female. Your orthodontically corrected grin will give quick indication of your higher pedigree and claim to your prize.

I always go for a simple yet very effective set of rules when greeting a new girl for the first time. I want to make it known my intentions while giving her a little taste of how much value I have. Something classy like Abercrombie on the collar opposite to the kissing side. Walk up confidently, cheeky grin, kiss on the cheek and then lead her to the restaurant/bar etc engaging with a light hearted opener. A joke always goes down a treat. By the time she is in her seat she only has eyes for me and the night goes from there. The opening gentleman is without doubt the most overlooked part of the date. First impression is paramount.
