When you go out, sometimes you will see a guy who a guy who is on the dance floor busting a move. Sometimes, he is good and sometimes he is not, but regardless he is out there, dancing like there like there is no tomorrow and not aware how he looks. What do girls think of that?

If he's good then it's impressive. If he's not good then...good for him. What I do NOT like is when someone is doing their own thing and is completely oblivious to those around them. I've been bumped hard, had drinks spilled on me, etc. by some bozo who just wanted to obliviously do their own thing. So if you can get in the zone where you don't mind judgement, good for you...but be aware of others' space.

As someone who loves to dance myself, I would am always impressed by anyone who seems to be really enjoying the dance. But mostly its just because they don't have any inhibitions and really don't seem to care if people are looking or not. And if its a guy I think is attractive, I'll definitely try to dance my way over to him:cool:

My ex use to be like that sometimes and I never found it a bad thing; actually it was nice to see that he was having a great time dancing and singing like no one's around. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are judgemental regarding that behaviour, but as long as you're okay with that, then go for it!

I am not what you would call a great dancer. You won't see me on dancing with the stars or stomp the yard. I do the basic dances like the running man, the Carlton.. Etc etc. I just look like I have a jolly time doing it and girls have been flocking to me.

Yeah I'm not impressed by people dancing with drinks in hand. You should always have situational awareness. But omg yes people, DON'T bring your drinks to the dance floor please! I HATE when people dance with drink in hand:mad: Whats the purpose? IMO it makes you dance awkward:D I've also had drinks spilled on me which is irritating already, but more so its fall hazard if it spills. Don't be "That" person

I'm impressed with any guy willing to get up on the dance floor. Guys that are willing to dance are guys who increase their odds of getting laid. Women find it sexy.

Two years ago, I brought a woman to a high profile event my company threw at a very nice place. It's an annual event and a very big deal at my company. I had been dating this woman for about 3 weeks and my best friend convinced me that it would be a great idea to invite her to this event. One of my women staff members dragged her out to the dance floor during the night and she started dancing... with her drink in hand! I felt like crawling under a table and not coming back out to the place was clear of all people. Of course she was the only person on a very busy dance floor with a drink.

Oh, my God, this thread reminded me of my dad, long deceased. He danced like nobody was watching and it was hilarious. Because he was still doing it when he was 70 and 80. I wish I could show you his moves. He would get all worked up and thrust his loins up and out. His face was ecstatic. He loved it. It was so embarrassing. But I have to say that usually no one would let his stand at there on his own. Some girl wanting to dance would usually end up out there with him which was of course icing on the cake for him. He would try to get me out there sometimes and I kept wanting to tell him, Only if you'll promise not to do the vertical Alligator at me. Dad.

I understand the whole key to being a decent club dancer is simply to only move one or two body parts at a time. I never mastered this. My moves were a throwback to the girls in the cages at the Whiskey A-Go-Go, except I was much more awkward!

To me, there is NOTHING cuter than an awkward or dorky guy who's having a great time on the dance floor.

But he HAS to be awkward. If it's someone who thinks he's all that and is Mr. Swag, then I'd probably think eww, conceited attention getter.

Haha, Matthew Lilliard! He will always be Shaggy to me.

No, he is being too over the top and blatently, creepily sexual to other people in that clip (female and male both). I mean when someone is off in their own world, just dancing and getting into the music, in a more chaste way. (Pee Wee Herman dance, maybe)

When I'm drunk as **** I go out on the dance floor not caring what anyone thinks. My dancing is pretty bad but I don't care lol. Luckily I'm a friendly drunk, so I get along with everyone when I drink so if someone said something to me about my dancing I wouldn't even give a ****.

I would understand how he is feeling.....enjoying the music.....when i go out with friends at clubs most of them dont dance until they are legless....i dont bother with drinking i go to dance........so i dance by myself.....i am never dancing alone for long...i dont care what they look like dancing .....i would probably move and dance with them....being a sole dancer myself.....never been turned away when i have gone up and danced with someone...i normally ask do you mind if i dance with you.....because some people enjoy the dance alone.....i respect their space.....deb
