I'm just curious what you all have to say, and how much your opinions differ on what you think makes a good relationship and what you are looking for. Also, have you found it yet?

I guess I'll start. I'm looking for a 2-way effort. Someone who likes me as much as I like them and someone who is willing to put in a little effort. Respect. Trust. Honesty. Friendship. Somebody who makes me happy, and somebody that I can make happy. Sexual Attraction.

And no, I have not found all those things yet. Only a couple.

Fun together, the ability to go anywhere and do anything and have a great time because we're together, the attraction that makes me want to be up against them skin on skin all of the damn time, intelligence, loyalty, fidelity, treats me like a queen and lets me treat him like a king, good in the kitchen, actively wants to be a part of my life and come along to see my family with me when I visit, invites me to meet his family, gets excited about a future together. Doesn't take drugs, or drink to excess. Tolerance to other people's lifestyles and cultures and disdain for right-wing politics. Enthusiastic about doing things together whether it's a walk in the park with our friend's dog or planning a big trip someplace. No anger problems (no punching the door through when we argue or screaming in my face).

I'm a big believer that in the best relationships, you are each other's number one cheerleader. Although you should also be able to give and take gentle constructive criticism without flipping out.

I'm looking for a woman to survive a zombie apocalypse with. A reliable and determined individual, that is funny, smart, warm, and will watch my back against zombies while I urinate, and vice versa.

Best response. Ever.

I think I wanna change my list to 'will watch my back while I urinate'

The love of a good woman. The freedom of being myself around her. And the trust of knowing she isn't going to eat my burrito when I leave the room for a Dr. Pepper.

An all rounded Unicorn i.e. one that doesn't feel obligated to rely on me, isn't afraid to whip out their purse and pay for stuff, believes in equality and not just the lip service of it, mutual respect, good communication, doesn't spend time on social media and is loving and caring.

Pretty much like me. At the end of the day, someone who's compatible with me and share the same interests.

Someone I love and respect, that I'm passionately attracted to, that I can engage with intellectually, emotionally and philosophically, who shares core values with me and likes enough of the same kind of stuff but is independent enough and driven enough to have his own life. I need honesty, passion, creativity, spontaneity, excitement, intimacy, humour, fun, engagement, achievement, up-for-it-ness and understanding. Someone I can fully be myself with, and someone who I want to be my best self with - who, in turn, wants to be his best self with me.

And yes, I've found him
