I want good things for him, but I want better things for myself. Is it my ego? Why isnt anythign good happening to me? Will a good thing like that happen to me??????? When how where .......I am the dumpee...am i not supposed to get lucky sooner or later...

purple21 Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 yeah - i kinda know how you feel - i was the one dumped though - i was happy about it in the long run because i was unhappy anyways - just didn't know what to do Anyways - after we break up - he finds a job he loves making tons of $ - of course with me there was a new job every couple months, tons of misery, and even helped him through some school He's a runner and when we broke up he just suddenly started running much faster - and getting his best times - while i had to help him through all his heartache of not doing well He also started going out a lot more - which is was hard to get him to do before and made a lot of new friends. He has also been dating a bunch - blah whatever - i really don't want to get together with him - even though i think if i tried it may be possible - but none of this is happening for me - what the heck? But what you say is so true - we are invaluable
