jackinthebox1 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I was with my ex for 4 months. Things were pretty good but we had one argument and she totally shut down. She was on weird stress tablets and also getting over a date rape situation about 6 months ago n completely caved in and broke it off. Was a real shock. I agreed and went straight to NC. That was wednesday. At 2:30 last night got this text. "Where were you last night?" Clearly a drunk text but it looks like she went to the place i always go to hoping to find me. I got back my last gf. She would text me during NC and i would wait around a week and text back. Gradually we started talking again but i would push pull, not be needy and coax her back with lack of interest. I havent text back. I wasn't going to. Its really not fair breaking up with someone and drunk texting (If she was drunk) But i do feel like the whole relationship ended so strangely with no overbearing issues and id like to work on it. What should i do?

What should i do? That is a breadcrumb honestly delete and move on! Only if she says she has made a major mistake and wants you back that you should consider talking to her. Honestly if you go back you will just play into her game! Stay strong post here if you feel like going back to her 1
Seeker12 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Just be prepared for this to set you back, me personally with my relationship (my ex was my bestfriend by the way) id reply back saying i was at so and so's why? You could do that, then be set back to day 1 of NC, or you could just go cold and not reply at all, to be honest its a dig in the dark, lemonsugars right though, youll play straight back into her game and be tossed around until you put your foot down, and then she will go running, save yourself the hassle, if shes interested she will be in touch again very soon.

If someone wants to find you they will. I dont know if i feel better or worse that she text. On the one hand its a set back, on the other hand i know shes out there feeling miserable and second guessing. Its only been 5 days, i'll stay NC and carry on, im sure shell be in touch either way in the coming weeks, they always are
