Cfcjohn Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I have liked this girl for 2 years i am in love with her. I cant stop thining about her every second of every day. We have been good friends for about 4 months now we talk every day hang out with eachother and are very close. She was on and off with her boyfriend for nearly a year and has ended it now for good because he treated her like **** which always made her upset. I dont know if she has the same feelings for me and i dont want to ruin my chance by telling her too soon after her break up, when is the ideal time? Thanks for reading any help is appreciated.
Thegreatestthing Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Wait a month then tell her, she's never going to tell you,you have no other choice
Author Cfcjohn Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 "shes never going to tell you" Why wouldnt she?
Thegreatestthing Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Because girls are trained from early age not to declare their love etc.
CoolKids Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Don't tell her you love her. That will put pressure on her. Also it's creepy. Wait a while and observe her. Offer to hang out with her a little more, then when you see a window, after a few weeks, ask her out. But do NOT ask her out when she's still mourning the loss of the relationship. Or else you'll be a rebound, or rejected. Don't tell her you love her until you're sure that you really do, and that you're not totally infatuated. 1
IronZ Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I wouldn't lead with the L word. That's a bit much. Simply ask her out after enough time has passed. I think the rule of thumb is 2 weeks for every 6 months - a year they were in a relationship. Give it at least a month.
