Well,

He made it very easy for me.

The man is 35 and has no concept of respecting other people's time because we were supposed to meet at 5. When 5:30 hit and no phone call, I decided to leave the house to get a few errands done. I came home at 6. No call. It is now 6:30.

He had safety training at work today that was supposed to be finished by 4. If I am going to be more than 10min. late, I call the person to let them know what is going on. He has my home # and my cell, so DUH! courtesy and common sense please!

What a retard.

Well...He either forgot or didn't want to really talk. Or something happened and he had to go home right away after his training session.

Don't call him, just go about your own business, let him come to you. If it was important enough to him, he'll bring it up in conversation.

Hope you're doing alright.

ug, that is so disrespectful. And it makes you feel like crap.

My ex would often not show up and not call and I really hated it. But if I got mad he would get angry and say I was acting like his mother. And then he would pout about it.

My current bf calls if he will be five minutes late and I LOVE it! (It only happened once, he is never late.)

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your concern UP. I am fine, a little miffed but not getting huffy or crying about it. :) I went to the neighbors for wine and snacks for a little while at 6:30. I just got home a little while ago.

Not a word. I also thought I hope he's alright, because he never stood me up before. Hmm... Just a little accountability for things would be nice.

I won't give him the satisfaction of being pissed off at him. I will wait to see if he calls to explain himself. If not, I know where I stand.

You're welcome and I'm glad that you went out and visited with some neighbours and didn't wait for him. And that you're not pissed off.

I guess give him the benefit of the doubt until you know for sure eh?

Yuk, tomorrow is Monday.....

You're very fair by the way, did I mention that? ;)

I hate Mondays too, so try to have a good one! :)

Thanks.

I just have read waaaaaayyyy too many threads on here and if I can stop ONE person from making a mistake and preventing them from posting back here in the future about how the MM is hurting them - Well, then I know I've helped.

There are some on here who come and post who don't want to hear advice and are really set in doing what they were intending to do. Ya can only help somebody if they are ready and willing. I think you know deep down what needs to be done...Just will hurt alot.

There's an amazing thread in the Coping section by No Foolin'. Man this guy is incredible! I wish I had his words of advice when I was younger and going through heartaches and breakups!! It's really long but I think you'll find it useful. I can't remember what it is called ,something like the guide .... (It's also in his signature - the actual link!)

I will, you too. Hope this sore throat goes away...Yuk.
