He had a tough few months last year but it was something anyone could come down with - in fact I had the exact same thing in my early 40's (bowel blockage and sepsis). He hasn't had a drink in five years. He works out and doesn't look or act like what you would imagine a 65 year old would, in my opinion. He is not living with me. I do see him every day however. Yes he has seen a lawyer. Do you have proof of this? That he's seen a lawyer? Just because he's said he has, doesn't mean he actually did. He has a lot to lose here and money wise too. Not that he cares too much (so you described his so little interest in his first grand child) if he loses out on being involved in his grand child's life, let alone his daughters life. The fallout from this and reaction from their family is huge.

I'd bet money that he isn't leaving his wife for good. He's had plenty of time to do just that, yet there he is. He'll be back with his wife in due time. You my dear are wasting time. Wasting time with an old ass man, who thrills on drama. Though honestly, I think you do too. Win win? Bleck. Good luck with all that. I'd try and offer advice, but reading all you numerous threads, you don't take it. You seem to thrive on the unhealthy as much as he does. Co-dependent much? 5
