DBryYES Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 There was this girl that I am in the same class with. We would catch each other's glances and we would smile at each other. I decided to say **** it and just approach her. She seemed like a real cool chick and she was someone I can have a good conversation with. We exchanged numbers and we agreed to get out dinner after our midterm before our fall break. The night we were supposed to go, she told me that her grandfather was dying and he might not make it through the night so she had to go back home. I felt sorry for her and I asked if she was going to be okay. She said she would be fine, her BOYFRIEND would drop her off at the airport. I hid disappointment but I hoped that she would be okay. When I told this to my friend, he seemed suspicious. To him, the fact that her grandfather was seemingly dying and she had a boyfriend, was too coincidental for him. The timing seemed to weird. I never thought of that, but I admit I have had some thoughts about it now. I would never accuse her, but now this is starting to look weird.
therealmsfree Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 I'm not sure if she lied or not. I have to agree with your friend and say that it all sounds a bit fishy too me. Here's the good part... 1. If she has a boyfriend and took your number and also made a date with you. She's not good enough for you. 2. If she lied about her grandfather dying to avoid telling you the truth that maybe she was at a low point in her relationship and was looking for some comfort and then realized she made a huge mistake...she's not good enough for you. 3. SHE'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU! ~Ms. Free
Assasda Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Doesnt matter man. Some girls dont know how to react to confidence. She might be telling the truth. Good job for handling it cool.
d0nnivain Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 I don't know that it was coincidental but the fact that she apparently has a BF means she's not available to date you so NEXT.
