irc333 Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 There was a post on these forums where it was mentioned that a lot of men don't typically find Sarah Jessica Parker attractive, some think her down right ugly. Same with Tori Spelling. I figured it had something to do with the bone structure of her face. I recall one time when I was younger, I had a crush on Maria Shriver. lol. Apparently, some men found her to be ugly. A lot men actually. I couldn't figure out why, but one could say some of these women aren't "universally" attractive. This puts me in comparison of saying, "It doesn't take much for me to be attracted physically" to a woman. I suppose that's a good thing, as it allows me more options in dating?

Generally the reason why women are seen as unattractive is when they have masculine facial features. There a girl in one of my classes who has a very nice body but a masculine face and I just don't think she's attractive at all. I would say that most women who are not obese and have a feminine face are universally attractive.

If there's a room with 200 women and 100 are universally attractive, the other 100 are non-universally attractive women you may be attracted to them all but only those attracted to you will want to date you. If there are equal numbers of universally and non-universally attractive men in the room as well then all of the men/women may be attracted to all of opposite gender(providing they are all heterosexual) but the likelyhood is that few will be mutually attracted.
