Chasin Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 FREAKING sucks. Gosh it's tearing me apart. I go out, I have fun... But at the end of the night I'm sitting there laying in bed just thinking of how my ex doesn't want me. It hurts, it sucks, its such an awful feeling. She's stringing me along still, telling me she can't look at our pictures because she'll cry.. Sad that we broke up and is shocked and doesn't know what to do.. Yet she's telling her friends shes fine and she feels good. This back and forth stuff is killing me.

For the love of god, WHY do you still have contact with her? Despite whatever she says, you two have about a 3% chance of ever getting back together. She doesn't want to get back with you, she just doesn't want you to move on; probably on the off chance she tires of single life or things flame out with her next guy and she needs you as a backup plan. Don't be someone's backup plan. Don't be the guy that hangs around like a sad puppy she can look to for a quick hit of validation from time to time. Don't be pathetic. A guy pining after a girl is one of the least attractive things a man can do. Keep living your life, with time it gets better but only if you cut all contact and distract yourself. Leaving any channels of communication open (even if its just word of mouth via friends) does nothing but pick at the scab so you'll never fully heal.
