I've talked to this girl on OkCupid for about a week. We really hit it off, have a lot in common and the conversation always flowed naturally without much effort. However, we haven't talked for almost a week now (she hasn't logged in since we last chatted). I really want to ask her out but I can't since she hasn't logged in. We do follow each other on Instagram though, she's the one that asked if I had an account and followed me.

Would it be OK if I added her on Facebook to ask her out there since I don't have her number and no way I'm doing it through Instagram. Or wait a little longer to see if she connects again on OkCupid?

What do you think?

Get her telephone number somehow. Call her and ask her out. If she doesn't pick up, leave a short message. Calling a woman means you are serious about pursuing her. If you do anything else for the first date, such as Facebook message, Instagram, text, she's not going to take you seriously.

It's a big NO NO.

Send her a message on the dating site. Most dating sites send an automatic email notification when we get messages. She'll know you sent her a message there.

Stick to the website.

After you decide if you both want to be in each other's lives, then you can add her on FB, not before.

Agree with what everyone has suggested already. Leave Facebook as the last step once you've contacted her and have been dating for a short while.

Definitely won' be adding her on Facebook then. I already did send her a message asking her out a few days ago but since she hasn't logged in she hasn't seen it. Hopefully she will log in soon and see it. Guess I'll just have to wait then. Thanks guys. Appreciate the quick responses!
