indie22 Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I've thought about just giving up on dating completely and put my focus on my business. The reason is 1)It's no fun without any options. I don't even have one. I have resorted to meeting young men from online because of this. Not one of them has askfor d me out and chat about movies and sitting at home. 2) I want a relationship. Its like many people are afriad to be in one or just don't want to be in one. 3) I have given men who I wouldn't normally talk to a chance. Nothing really came out of doing this, not even a date. 4) Everyone I've met want a friendship first but I want to date. I tried being friends first, in the past, only to be strung along. I know everyone is different but I know what I want and just want a guy who knows what he wants. I don't know, I haven't tried hobbies that iblke where I interact with the guys. The only issues with me doing this is 1) I am VERY confident in my looks but it seems every guy I talk to seems to want to talk to the other cute girl in the room. I know I have to be someone's preference! 2) Most of my interests are dominated by gay men. I love them but I obivously can't date them. The final thing that I notice is that I've been wanting love for a while now and no one has stepped in and said "hey I know someone nice I can introduce you to." I'm starting to question this too. Any advice?
Andy_K Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 If you are genuinely very good looking (as opposed to just being confident about your looks - you can't go from a 6 to a 10 with men just by being confident), then online should give you a whole world of options. Even average girls I know can set up dates easily with decent seeming guys on pof or okcupid. Do you live in a sparsely populated area? How do you present yourself, generally?
