Don't let your relationships define you.

It's been about 3 weeks since the BU with my ex gf, and about a week of No Contact. I've gained a little clarity on the situation, and I just wanted to share it. It's helped me from staying depressed.

Don't let your past relationships define you, who you really are. The time and the moments you shared with that person will last forever, and if they wanted to end it, let them. They needed something different in their life, and you did too. You just don't realize it yet.

Getting your ex back is the un-healthiest thing you can do after a break up. You need to figure yourself out. They need to figure themselves out. The best way to proceed is to let go of reconciliation hope, as that will just stall your growth.

Thank that person for their time in your life, and thank yourself for allowing yourself to love. Learn from it, take a deep breath, and push forward.

Affect the world around you in a positive way. The world will start to treat you the same way.

These are all the things I've come up with so far with No Contact. Hopefully I get more insight as the time goes on. Thanks guys...keep your head up!
