OneShotWonder Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 When I was 14 or 15 I met and started dating (if you can call what 15 year olds do dating) a girl I met online in a local BBS chat room. She lived about 30 minutes away from me and the only way we got to see each other was if one of our parents drove us. We got along really well, but eventually the distance was too much to overcome. We never officially broke up, we just stopped talking to one another because of school and the distance between us. Recently I've been thinking about her and decided to try to look her up. She doesn't have a Facebook page that I can find, but I did manage to find what could be her address and phone number. It would be probably be inappropriate to show up at her address, but would trying to call her also be out of bounds? Is even trying to contact her at all too much? 1
central Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 If high school was 5 or 6 years ago, calling wouldn't be bad - just be prepared for a negative response in case she's dating or married. The longer ago it was the more desperate and creepy it my seem. 2
