CurvyGurl Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I have two days to obsess about it. We're going to Martinis& Imax at the Fernbank Museum. It's a nice cozy lil joint. Dinner, wine, Imax movie. I don't drink, but it sounds fun anyway. I met him off of Match.com. We email a few times daily and talk a few times a week. The first week he asked me to dinner and I declined. I wasn't ready. Then when I was ready he came down with the crud. And then his dad had a heart attack. So we're finally going out Friday. He seems normal. They all seem normal at first. I've got my guard up and my list of do's and don'ts from the shack. 1. Don't take it too seriously 2. Go SLOW 3. Hands off till after date 4 4. Go SLOW 5. Have Fun 6. Go SLOW

Author CurvyGurl Posted March 12, 2005 Author Posted March 12, 2005 I is home. I had a won-der-ful time! He l is really nice and funny and seems normal. Cross your fingers he stays that way. He took me to a Thai Restaurant--- diet shot to hell, who cares? On to the Fernbank where I had a fruity martini, and got the teeniest bit tipsy. Whil we were standing waiting to get into the movie, he put his arm around me. *warm fuzzy* The movie was INCREDIBLE! Only an hour long but Africa is BEAUTIFUL!!! Narrated nby James Earl Jones-- that man could come and read the phone book to me. His voice is AMAZING! We held hands during the movie (because watching a Cheetah run down a Gazelle is really romantic. ). After the movie we went to a little coffee shop in downtown Decatur for about an hour and then he brought me home. I got a BIG hug and a kiss (not too much he just got over a cold). He is very very nice and I hope to see him again, soon.

There is another one I want to see called 'The Greatest Places'. Loved it, it was fun.
