Third date, should I offer to pick her up?

We're going to the park and I have some activities planned there. At this moment she's asked me if she wants me to meet her there (after I told her where it was), but I would as gladly just pick her up. For the first two dates she's said she would meet me there. My only concern for offering to pick her up is to have my offer rejected (though she has every right as a single mother). If I do offer to pick her up, what would be a good way to do so?

Do you have nothing to lose is she told you not to pick her up.

So go ahead and ask.

If she says "no" just say "Oh ok then, see you are the park"

whats all the thinking about?

Overthinking is worthless, but my mind is just too quick sometimes. There could be numerous reasons behind a no, waste of time to think about it.

Thanks, will do.

In the beginning especially if you met through OLD, most people are happier to have their own car for a sense of safety & independence.

Keep your offer light & expect that it will be refused.

When you call that day to confirm casually say, do you want me to swing by & pick you up?

I think you pretty much answered your own question here. It can goes two ways, but personally I won't offer it NOT for the reason you have stated, but for the sole reason of safety awareness.

Having said that, my dates have always had their own ride, and yes we have indeed ended up in one car after moving on from our rendezvous point, onto somewhere else. It looks silly going to the same place from the same point in 2 cars.
