Women dating prisoners have worse issues than "everybody else". That's obvious, there's no arguing that point. We're talking about people who society has judged as unfit to live among us. And the women who willingly seek them as relationship partners. That's not normal or good, and it's a poor reflection on those women. It is what it is. Theres a reason the usa is leading populous countries as far as prison population, and its not because americans are more dangerous. Many people are in prison for some nonviolent offense, not armed robbery. Nonsense.... Everyone knows the rules....Ignorance is no excuse...Its easy to catch a moth in front of a streetlamp... If you dont like the laws of the land, then go find someplace that suits your lifestyle...Billions of people have no issue with laws and never set foot in a prison..That doesnt make it "easy".. You are just seeing an example of how women rationalise their choices: dating a criminal is not a problem because its so easy to be a criminal these days- hell, everyone is practically a criminal! The guys I saw in there...they were HUGE..the majority of them were incredibly buff, tall, and strong. Guys like him were pulling women like cakes...but not all of them. Some of these big buff guys had worse luck with women than I did. Let's get to the heart of the matter...there are nearly 8 billion people in the world. These traits are more commonly seen as attractive to women in general. 1. Good looks. The different between a friend and a boyfriend is if you wanna have sex and or be intimate. In order to do that, you have to like their face. For some women, it's the really buff and tall types, for others it's lanky...it all depends. What you see the most does not speak for all. 2. A feeling of security and or understanding. This can range depending on a woman's needs and desires, ranging from financial to social or even verbal. 3. Availability. That sense of "I want you, but I don't need you" that drives a woman up the wall to try to tame a guy. Truth is, the majority of men on LS who are on this forum are envious of the success these guys have with women, but don't have it in us, whether it be for moral or other reasons, to do what they did. Deal with it guys. Everyone has traits that they see in other people. For instance, I was jealous of my cousin's good looks, but he was jealous of my intelligence. Just because we think they're lucky, doesn't mean they see it that way. You know what we have that felons don't: freedom to live our lives out in the real world. Remember guys, women date all kinds of men for various reasons. It may form a pattern but that doesn't mean they're all TERRIBLE men. They might be but the bottom line is, more guys are complaining that the girls they feel ENTITLED to date, aren't checking them out, and usually blame their taste in men, low-self esteem, etc. as a result. Truth is, there could be any reason, but she doesn't want you, and she wants them. Guys date bitches because most of them find em hot. Truth. Girls dates guys of equal repute for that reason as well as others. So you're not a good-looking celebrity and a male in jail looks like a model. So what? You might be jealous but there's no point in letting it drive you nuts. Work confidently with what you have, and you'll enjoy more in life. Sides, if a girl was in a relationship with a convict who was in jail for years and years, I'd chalk it up as she not being my type for a relationship, and move on. Deep inside all of us, we're still animals. And we've retained some animal instinct. That's why attraction will never make sense. I would say that there were problems. The big ones were recidivism and him hanging out with the wrong crowd. If I were dating him now 5 years later, dating him would have been completely different. Aside from the references to thugs/felons, this is just another thread asking why supposed bad boys (attractive men) are being picked of supposed nice guys (unattractive men). Some of the things in this thread said about bad boys are tye same thing ls guys say about attractive man (eg hes gonna have sex with you and dump you). You could really take out thugs/felons and put in hot sexy 6'4 football players and the thread would be very much the same. I made a thread about this topic-The Evil Good Looking Man. Almost every one of them has flirted with me to some extent. One thing I've noticed is that these guys are MASTER manipulators and opportunists. They're hustlers. They know EXACTLY how to talk to people to get what they want. They read people very quickly and feed them the lines that they think they want to hear, in just the right character. It's funny that as soon as they realize I'm never going to fall for their act, they immediately give it up and fall out of character. The transformation is instant. And yep, most of them have a gaggle of women fighting over them, all of them with obvious issues with drugs, self-esteem. Some of these guys are quite handsome, and buff and strong because the only jobs they can get are manual labor. If you want to see how this dynamic works, just watch a typical Judge Judy episode...You will see a woman, that looks somewhat like any typical woman from Main Street USA, with some lowlife douchebag that took them for their money, wrecked their car, fcked their freind, sat around the house getting stoned and eating Fruit Loops while she was out busting her ass.. Then some of these insecure dopey women actually have kid(s) with these losers....And never get a dime of support when they move on to the next "victim"... Its a survival tactic on their part(the men)...What they do is latch on to some dumb insecure woman...They (the woman) thinks they are getting a prize because the guy is in good shape or has a bunch of tats and that they can somehow "fix" the other parts of their lives.....Never works.. The former is a much more serious crime . So for me? Let's say I met someone who had been arrested for a peaceful protest. I wouldn't rule him out for having a criminal record . Ive heard jokes that theres a conspiracy by unattractive men to lock up the single hot ones. Plenty of men in prison are physically perfect. Its actually really sad. Thats what I was getting at with Roy Slagle. Hes naturally built, tall, and handsome. He also has a lot of criminal tendencies. However, he will be set for life for poon and attention from women. He has a wife(gasp hes married!), and if shes cool having a trophy husband, so be it.Thats the kind of stuff that probably pisses off men on ls. Roy Slagle can get married, but they remain single. Plus, I can speak from first hand experience and not merely speculate. Heres a question. Why should an individual be permanently barred from dating because they have a record? Most people grow out of it as they get older. Here we go with the namecalling. Truth be told, some women date felons or excons, and thejr relationships are just fine, everyday relationships. Here are some better examples for you: 1. A woman that was on the sex offender register 2. A woman caught smuggling drugs / using drugs, and yes that includes 420 (Marijuana) 3. A thief..steals handbags, shoes etc 4. Criminal damage (burnt ex's car/house/belongins) 5.
