Last night, I had a dream about my crush and we were together and did sexual things and it felt so real. It was really weird. What does this mean if I dreamed about my crush?

Posted

It means you are not going to have what you hope to have. Things will only come to you when you have dreamless sleep.

It means absolutely nothing (other than that your crush is on your mind).

Damn right. I know cos once I had the fortune of 5 continuous years of dreamless sleep.

it means that you have a crush on them.

I'm weird, I believe dreams are sometimes what we deeply desire...And, I also have times that I believe that you're getting spiritual communication about "something" that you need to know and/or prepare for...

Example, last week I had a dream that I was trying to sweep away a snake from eating an animal, and "poof" a bunch of snakes come out...Well, later last week I found out I'm gonna have to go and tango with some people who are "snakes" to say the least...

But yeah, I love but hate steamy dreams about a guy I'm into...like a month or so ago I had a dream about a crush and it was like in the morning - where you go back to bed after walking up....I loved the dream cuz you feel so great, it feels real, and you wake up with a smile :)...But, then again it sucks cuz you want the dream to come for real :(

Unlike the snake dream, I'm hoping my dream about the crush materializes ;)

Then lay off the pot for a while :)

I just dreamt of my crush (who I met the first time 2 days ago). I dreamt of her yesterday morning, last night and today when I took a short nap. Nice dreams.

The only thing it means she's (in a positive way) on my mind. There's no observable connection between the real world and our dreams, as in that our dreams have a positive or negative predictive power of any sort.

Enjoy the dreams, and meet your crush a couple of times, to find out if you can go somewhere :)

My analysis of dreams is that they are emanation of anxiety. If you want something bad or fear something, you are going to dream about it.

If you have no dream, then you are most assuredly going to get what you want.

One time I had a sexual dream with a friend of mine, who up until that point I never, and I mean NEVER saw in a sexual way, but after that dream with her, I would've tried dating her if we got the chance back then. Funny how dreams turn out sometimes.

Your crush was on your mind when you fell asleep. Nothing more. Nothing less.

What does it mean when you dream about pizza?

It's just not that profound.

Do you have any proof of that?

Your statement also conflicts with the fact that we don't remember a lot of our dreams (but a third person, i.e. a doctor with a CT scanner could register that we're dreaming), so you don't really know what you dreamt of and what not. In turn you cannot know what it is that you will get or not.

Well I can tell you that you are going to remember all the dreams for things that you can't have.

I have no proof but I just have experience. I didn't think it was possible to have no dreams, but that was what I experienced - utter and complete peaceful sleep. This state went on for a few years that corresponded to the period of my life when I found complete contentment. I was quite amazed. Now I use this as a guide. If I am working on something I am not sure about, if I don't dream, I know I am on the right path.

I don't understand how that would really be possible for you to know. We can't even record our own dreams, thus we have no way of knowing which dreams we had and which ones we didn't have, let alone which ones slip our active memory (and potentially never resurface again). Also, you cannot see into the future, right? So what I "couldn't" have yesterday maybe something I have tomorrow, or in ten years, regardless of what it was that I was dreaming in the past. Actually, I did dream of something I got later, so your claim does not apply to my life at least.

People have deja-vues and give wrong accounts when asked to step into the witness stand. I think you overestimate the power of our memory and the importance of dreams or lack thereof.

It is possible to know because the OP is showing you an actual instance of it - remembering dreaming for something he wanted but cannot have. He's not reporting dreaming of a pizza, and so we can safely conclude he hasn't a strong need for pizza, or that he could easily get a pizza if he wanted it.

People will never need to dream for something that is easily within their grasp.

It means that you're thinking about them A LOT.

Posted

It means that they will never be able to live up to your dream. Forget about them now before you are disappointed.

Haven't dreamt of my current crush, when I see her tomorrow I plan on telling her she was in my dream the other night though. Sounds like a good icebreaker.

I had a dream the other day, i feel it is going to be prophetic.......because it felt so real.......i have been meditating for a long time lately and when i meditate i pray and normally fall asleep........not coping with reality......anyway

dreamt i was on hold on the phone for over an hour.....its the one thing i cant handle......i get really anxious.......first time i have ever dreamt of being on hold......and i know its gonna happen it was that type of dream

i have been also having conversations with others that i have dreamt about......i cant change what i say.....they dont change what they say ...i just feel a little sick when i say what i said in a dream..its depressing.....

i had a dream last night.......i was with this irish guy...hsi accent made my heart beat6 a little faster...i am into voices........it was after some huge world competition .and he was telling me how beautiful i was and that he was so glad to spend time with me and his friends were laughing at him ......and i said to him dont worry i understand your friends ...i know i am not a catch....i know what i look like....and he moved away from his friends and sat closer to me.....and we watched the water his arms around me...coming in waves into these maze like formations....where you could see the water sideways and it was deep and there was no wall...like an infinity pool a sideways one.....rocks on the bottom.....

so I have complete dream recall.......so forgetting isnt what happens to me.....i always remember....deb

Ok, on the other hand, being on hold once in a while isn't that exotic an event... so it could also be a coincidence, right?

It happens to me too. It's a very peculiar feeling. Sometimes I wonder whether I just think I remember this situation / conversation as a dream or whether I actually dreamt it. I don't really have a means to verify I ever dreamt of a situation that I believe to have dreamt and then lived. Technically I can't even be sure of having existed ten minutes ago, because all my "memories" could just have been created to emulate my past.

Is that you in your profile picture? If yes I don't see how you're so critical of yourself. You're definitely a sweet person.

How can you know you have complete dream recall? Bc the dreams that you don't remember (at all) you also can't remember having dreamt them. They're just not there in your active memory (right now, maybe they'll show up later).

To me it happens sometimes that I feel a certain situation has alread "happened" to me, as in I've already lived it. Then it also happens that I feel I have dreamt that particular situation. The degrees to which I'm actually sure (or could recount the dream) vary wildly.

@OP....it means you have a lot of time on your hands, and probably need to find something more worthwhile to occupy your mind.

It probably means that you wake up in a crusty puddle.

it i think its not usual to have a whole dream about being on hold on the telephone and for it to feel real, the anxiety i felt was real....i was arguing with myself about hanging up...the dream ended because i had to go to the toilet......

my dreams are normally future dreams........as in the conversation i had with my ex when we broke up...i had it two years before we broke up we were actually happy.....when i dreamt it.......

two years later we broke up...when i dreamt it i was not consolable i woke up crying and desolate....when we broke up the difference was that i knew what was going to be said before he said it and i felt sick and numb...he also said to me ...when i said cant we fix this ....i knew you were going to say that...then later...he kissed my head and he walked away....and i let him go.......all that was in my dream...including my hand which is interesting....i had put it through a window....and i have the scar.....another was my grandfather who came to me in a dream the night he died ...my mother verifies to anyone who doesnt believe me with this one.....that when i came out in the morning and my parents said they had something to tell me i told them about grandpa before they informed me yes he had died, they were pretty stunned with what i told them grandpa had said.......

you are right i probably dont recall all dreams, i can recall some dreams because they are stuck ..so they are meant to be remembered for a reason...and i have a dream journal......if i need to when i wake i write them straight down if i felt they are significant.....or i talk about them or write them to cement them.....

i do believe dreams are a way to be in touch spiritually......with who you are as a person,to eb in touch with your subconscious that doesn't get a say in real life or ignored it all comes out in dreams...the study of symbolism in dreams i believe is a fragment of psychology of who you are, what you desire, what you repress and a legitimate field to explain...feelings that lie unresolved..thoughts hopes dreams grief ...

so many emotions go unfettered in dreams..whether or not it is true is up to the person i guess to sift through who they are what they want....and what isnt expressed isnt that possible?......

my grandpa comes to me in my dreams......he talks to me .....i mainly have conversations......

i have had sex dreams ....most often when i am in a relationship.......not when i am not.....but that changed so who knows.....

as far as the op goes.....sex dreams are not uncommon and could mean many things......none of them at all to do with sex ....but more intimacy that isnt expressed maybe..frustration sexual or otherwise.

could even be loneliness..a desire to connect with another......who can say ...you are right umirano...i get answers from prayers and meditation.... ...and most often confusion from dreams....there i sno way to tell as you said whther i recall fully or not...the mind still isnt understood.....not by humans anyway......deb
