ComingInHot Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Too skinny (to me) is ribs sticking and hip bones protruding. A walking twig that has sallow skin and dark circles and might break if hugged too hard. It's really sad but it's what the media pushes here* Obesity is just as scary as and who I deal with in my work. Like I said if we're talking a couple lbs either way, I sincerely don't think it should matter because that's easy to fix one way or another*
Tayken Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 No worries, we are not Are you speaking on behalf of all of us here? It also depends on where this extra weight is located i.e. is it easily visible or can it be concealed in a tactical manner. The most obvious area is the backside. It's never pretty to see all that fromage' jiggling all over the place, then you have the arms and face. Depending on how much weight, the tummy area (muffin top) is another area that can be seen or hidden well.
Imported Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I'd rather a bit over than skinny. I have an ex who went on an extreme diet for a part in a film and it felt like he was too fragile, the skinny arms and jutting ribs scared me lol. That's like anorexic skinny. That is not just a couple pounds less. Yikes! I stand corrected... my point stands though - a lot of times what is considered "too skinny" is actually a perfectly normal, healthy weight. I like it when overweight women talk about how "real men" should like "real women". Cause in the real world women put on weight and become "big beautiful women" or something like that. But that's not true. People who eat too much food and are physically inactive put on weight with age. 1
NYC-BigKat Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 What do men and women prefer? I'm not talking morbidly obese but I would take a man who could lose a few lbs than someone too skinny. I like some extra pounds 'cause it looks healthier than skinny Winnie. I really really like my girls to have some meat but not too much u know.
Mr Scorpio Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Skinny all day. Preferably not with ribs and hip-bones sticking out, but skinny nonetheless.
