What about a booty call situation....do men have to be at least physically attracted to her or can they booty call with just about anyone? Do you think a man would get attached to a woman if he's been booty callin' with her for awhile? Just curious.

NTB Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 some guys take it anyway they can get it others are picky and i mean if you have something worked out with a booty call and that is all you see her as then there won't be any feelings developing there. i know some of my pals that have girlfriends and also have girls that are their booty calls all at the same time.

But if he values it as part of a relationship then they are more selective of who they have sex with and even on the timing. Just my two cents

No. Men have the despicable talent of in fact liking a woman LESS the more they sleep with her. Especially if they think she's starting to like them. Which is why, if you can't handle that, it's important not to put yourself in that situation. With enough beer, and soft lighting, men can be attracted to anything. Women too, in case anyone thinks I'm being sexist.

Linlin Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I think it depends on a lot a factors..alcohol, age, attraction, etc. There are a couple of ONS that I have had that I would never call again. They were guys who were younger than me by several years. Yet there is one guy I knock boots with every once in a while. He is a year older than me. We both are OK with the situation. We don't see each other more than once a month usually because we know there is that underlying ease and attraction there. After sex we could easily hang out and talk for hours and hours. Yet in the real world, he is totally wrong for me. I am a successful professional with 2 children and he has made some bad choices in life and is unemployeed with two DWI's. Not someone I am going to bring home to mom and my kids. Therefore, we just enjoy what we have and leave it at that.

What they want out of a relationship is determined by personal preference and experience. To say that I am the same (or want the same) as everyone else that works in the oilfield would be a huge misrepresentation of either myself or every other individual that works out here. Having said that, I do agree that there are some people that could fit into the stereotype, but the vast majority are individualistic and stray from the norm. Maturity, IMO has a large impact on how quickly a man would jump into bed..... but I do believe that most would require some level of attraction both physically and otherwise.... I think it depends on the type of man and type of relationship. I would say that a fair proportion of the male population would like a girl more the more they slept with them. But I can think of guys who go the other way.

Not necessarily true!!! Have you never had a situation where you have a bed buddy. Maybe I am just cold and heartless like a male with situation. Given that, I have made the mistake of sleeping with a guy too soon that I may have been more interested in than just booty. However, it never has been anything that I couldn't live with my decision. I tell ya, I think about sex like a man.
