frozengirl Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I go and call this guy, it rings around 5 times before the voicemail picks up. I hang up, and the guy calls me back but as soon as the call connects for a mere 1-5 seconds he hangs up. He says via text "I called you back". Well the point of a phone call is to talk on the phone! But this guy didn't do that at all. I don't like it when guys play these types of games. If you don't like to talk on the phone why not say "I don't like talking on the phone" not "I called you back" and not talk. When I called he says he was "busy". Ugh this is so annoying.

Too much effort wasted on someone who's clearly either not in the least bit interested, or who has a hang-up about communication! 1

But then, I think I'm probably quite a bit older than you and have far more solidly-fixed boundaries. And one of them is be up-front and don't mess with my emotions, whichever way you may choose to do it, because nobody makes that same mistake with me a second time.... ;D My dating days are over, though. I'm happily in a one-to-one relationship now, so perhaps my advice to you is redundant, even....
