ComingInHot Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 No, he'd just have to control his eating. Workout wise...it requires high effort, but not much time. I did not know this. I have never tried to acquire a stomach like that. I don't think it is very feminine, but that's just me* I DO like running/jogging up and down ski hills though. Kind of a 'dry land' training for before the snow hits and I can jump on my sticks!! The side affect though means I keep my body in pretty good shape.*
Gloria25 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 (edited) I think the consensus will be "face"...but I think the bigger question is "what" is considered pretty, average, and stunning to the person. With men, I think I'm into attractive men, but what's attractive to me might not be to others...I mean, I've already posted like 10 times here how I don't get how women are gaga over George Clooney and Brad Pitt. I think they are not ugly, but I am not attracted to them in the least. But, I do need a guy in shape...There's another thread about guys in their 50's who are are just ho-hum about dating and one issue someone brought up is how many men just let themselves go over the years and I worked with a lady who was in her 50's and her husband was like 60's. He had back problems and a hearing aid. She liked to bike and hike and he couldn't do that with her. I want a man to be physical with me - especially in the bedroom. And who doesn't like looking at a fit body? I was with a guy in his late 40's - close to 50's and one day he was in the bathroom getting ready and he just looked soooo good in his boxer briefs and I just wanted to snap a picture of him. Now, he wasn't as active as I was since he got out of the military - but his body was rockin' (good genes I guess?) Edited October 2, 2014 by Gloria25
Imported Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 OK, imagine an attractive face on a person. Add 20lbs, 50lbs, 100lbs to that person. It changes the face...not just the body. There are some ugly people out there, but for the most part I don't see too many women that are fit or at least slender that are not attractive overall. But every fat girl I see is not attractive. Sure, some of them I am like...."if she lost some weight, she'd be attractive", but no I am never thinking..."wow, she has a pretty face, lets overlook that she eats like a cow and would rather complain about body acceptance than do something about it". Where am I going with that? I forgot. Just saying, not into fat chicks. No matter what they want to call themselves. Can they lose the weight and be attractive? Sure. I will reconsider them after they accomplish that.

While I'll never date a fat guy, I've seen some heavier women who really, really, have style, look nice and keep themselves presentable - I mean, they look do-able. And, I've seen some heavier women who look like they sit at KFC all day - and probably smell like KFC. And, I've run into pretty girls who just don't take care of themselves. I remember looking at a gorgeous woman, but she had bad teeth - and I was like 'awww, what a shame, she is so beautiful, why won't she do something about those teeth?'

I even had a dream once about him...I've liked him in several movies (especially "Drive") and I think he's good looking, but for some reason I just wanna punch him in the face. Women are like gaga over him too. But nah, no attraction to George Clooney or Brad Pitt...and I don't hate them like Ryan Gosling...I just don't get why women are gaga over them.

Phoe Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Either or. I'm not picky. Average anything is fine by me.
me85 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Both are equally important but if I had to choose between the two, I'd choose face.
love1336x Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Well going base my track records of dating men, I do not give a crap about the body. I've dated... very... overly weight men. There was no six pack, and we aren't talking about 10 pounds over weight, talking about 50. But, if I love their smile..., and their eyes... I am a sucker... I really could care less if they are super stick skinny, or fat.
thefooloftheyear Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Is it wrong, shallow or close-minded to want someone of the same body type as you are.?? TFY 1
love1336x Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Is it wrong, shallow or close-minded to want someone of the same body type as you are.?? TFY No. I mean most of my friends, and family think I am stupid or have low-self esteem because I love HUGE men. I am 4'11 and weight about 100 pounds. I have another friend who ONLY date SKINNY girls. Its your choice. You have to be able to kiss, and have sex with this person... why not be picky!
writergal Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 TFY - I think "like" attracts "like" when it comes to the face and body of the opposite sex. I have dated men who are fit, average, or who have a few extra pounds. But I don't like bulbous noses (think W.C. Fields) or really thick, bushy eye brows on a guy. Like I said, eyes, smile, even the jaw line catches my attention; especially a cleft chin like Ben Affleck or Henry Cavill have. I love cleft chins. What woman doesn't?
ComingInHot Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Is it wrong, shallow or close-minded to want someone of the same body type as you are.?? TFY nope you should be with like-minded individuals and in order to find them, try doing what you enjoy doing whether that be working out at the gym, on the chairlift, skiing (or after at Slope Side bar or Zoo Bar - for those of you who know MICH*), or wherever else you go to do the things you love to do* It's when you expect to land a Cindy Crawford but look like a Fred Sanford... (yep, that just aged me lol*)
Priv Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 A great body takes the priority. Unless the face is perfect. Than I go for the face. But if the face is less than perfect, it is right back to the body

xxoo Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Face. Bedroom eyes, and large features. Body appearance is flexible as long as its manly. No pregnant man look, ever. 1
Priv Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Double threat gals are what you are really looking for then* Double threat gals? Maybe I am too foreign or maybe too innocent () to understand. I do like non threatening women. Or maybe not, I am not quite sure...
ComingInHot Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Double threat gals? Maybe I am too foreign or maybe too innocent () to understand. I do like non threatening women. Or maybe not, I am not quite sure... No no no not like that I mean a woman who has BOTH a healthy sexy body AND a pretty face. Double threat as in she is a double threat to your singleness* funny 1
ComingInHot Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 kinda of like, WOW she has looks AND brains... who would've thought some were made that way. I happen to believe MOST of us are made that way* 1

Except the man version of that dream. 1
Gloria25 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Is it wrong, shallow or close-minded to want someone of the same body type as you are.?? TFY No, it's not shallow.... Dating is having someone compatible with you. I'm a physical woman. I need a man that can get physical with me (calling Olivia Newton John...). And, like Imported was saying, it's not just the fat - it's the other complications and attitude that comes with the fat. Some fat people are also lazy in other areas of life. Some people overeat because of "disorder". Being fat also causes health complications (knees, joints, heart, diabetes). BTW, I'm also not into health nutz either....I can't be with someone on a restricted diet and/or is a slave to the gym and their mirror.

(yep, that just aged me lol*) I'm not that picky....someone like this ...just a little older.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2iHeIIoZnY But all kidding aside...and this was the issue in the age gap thread...As a guy in my late 40's that is easily in the best shape of my life-easily on par with the woman in the video,, full of energy and youthful in most ways, where the hell would you find a woman in her late 40's/50's that has those attributes?? And to be honest, Id even consider someone that wasnt mega fit but at that age id think its even hard to find someone that is just "somewhat" fit...And I am not singling only women here....just as many guys are pretty sloppy at this point... Eh, if you figure in my shytty personality, its a moot point anyway.... TFY 1
ThaWholigan Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I dunno, things are subjective. I'd probably go awesome body, average face. But it could be either-or for me. I'm kinda flexible.
me85 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 This thread totally makes me think of the movie Shallow Hal...the elevator scene. HAHA 1

Other than that, pretty much a hotty for sure I guess. I jog up and down ski hills and will never have legs like that (thank you Jesus *) but that's why we're different. You're really looking to find a late forties woman like that? Best of luck to you and good luck with the upkeep J/K TFY, You should get what you give no matter what!! happily, CIH*
