How old were you when you found 'the one'?

27 years old. I saw her on the boardwalk when I was in Jersey and something said talk to her. I am glad I did.

I was 16 and he was 22. Been together 8.5 years now. Married for 6.

She was 15.

A year later, we were engaged.

I said two words.

She said one.

My sign was balance.

Hers, was the sun.

 

That was a long time ago.

What made her the one?

What never worked with anyone else, has always worked with her.

She didn't set the standard.

She is the standard.

 

Maybe I've had it too easy.....

but then again, I've never been fool enough to be tempted by difficulty.
