Bumpin in My Trunk Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 (edited) When you take someone off your contacts list and block them, they are supposed to stay blocked right? Is there maybe a glitch in Skype where a contact unblocks itself? The reason I'm asking this is because I blocked my ex since August and some 2 weeks ago I saw she was unblocked. I blocked her and some 10 mins later she was unblocked. I blocked her 3 or 4 more times but she always came back up. Then I decided to block another person along with her as part of a test. Some 4 days later my ex comes up as unblocked while the other person is still blocked. Yes, I broke NC and now my progress has stopped. It's all my fault and I take responsibility for it. But my question is why would she do this? Why unblock herself and not send messages. Why set me back like this.? Some people suggested she hacked me but idk how that's possible since my password is pretty secure and she has not way of guessing it. 3 numbers, some initials and the name of a car. How the hell does someone guess that?????? I honestly didn't do anything to deserve this. And if anyone is wondering why this affects me...its because i'm still not over her. My question is if she hacked my Skype or was it some sort of glitch? Anyone have a way of finding out where my Skype was accessed? Maybe I can see if I've logged in from 2 different computers or different locations EDIT: As past occurrence, she did loggin to my facebook after we broke up but that's because I gave her my password. And my fb password is completely different from the one on skype Edited October 1, 2014 by Bumpin in My Trunk
umirano Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I've blocked my ex on fb as well. She has never shown up again. I have never heard of a bug like that. Reset the password (use keepass or PasswordSafe to generate and manage complex and long passwords). Change your backup email address and block and remove her again. If the problem persists contact Skype support.

And my fb password is completely different from the one on skype gosh it has been so long since I noticed that skype has two options. IIRC, clicking on our account name during call will allow you to set restrictions. I had to put allow contacts only. Even though I had setup my contacts and settings, I would get random contact requests from peeps I did not know. It was so annoying until I found that extra feature.

That is something completely different to what I was talking about and I actually already messed with those settings. Thanks anyway My question still remains. How do I find out where I've logged in or if I'm currently logged in at some location?

You can however reset your password and that should log you out of all devices IIRC. It's possible someone has access to your Skype if you stayed logged in on another computer / device and you forgot to sign out. I've never heard of a bug like that, all the contacts that I have blocked are still blocked as well.
