Cristo Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I hate to say it or sound cliche, but there wasn't any chemistry between us. I felt almost as if I was having dinner and drinks with a friend of mine. But, it may be because of how he acted on the date. To say he was so affectionate and clingy over text, in person, he did not flirt with me at all really or initiate any physical contact. He was very respectful and gentleman like opening doors, etc. and we only hugged at the end of the night. Yeah, that's an issue. Not initiating physically is a one way ticket to the friendzone.

They don't know how to act in person, and they send stupid texts that make the girls slightly uncomfortable. They want to have a girlfriend so bad that they're ready to be exclusive with someone they just met, and they are so hung up on this that they actually get offended if a girl wants to keep it loose for a while. They post on these boards with those questions -- did I screw things up? -- does it sound like she likes me? -- should I was two days or three days before I text her back? -- should I have kissed her? -- etc. There's probably a decent chance you'll read about your date on a post here soon - "Had a great date, can't tell if she likes me or not - HELP!" If thats' not what you're looking for, you made the right call. I think it was good that you gave him a shot.
