xobeautyxoo Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 This guy on tinder said that I'm very pretty and asked if we can hook up. I said no because I don't know him and wanted to meet me at the mall and drive me to his house to hook up. Did I do the right thing by saying no to him? He is being very pushy to hook up and I don't want to hook up with a guy that I don't know. What do you think would of happened if I agreed to hook up with him and go in his car?
CharlieFox Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I mean, how can anyone tell? Literally ANYTHING could've happened. No one on here is a mind reader as far as I know... You say you said no because you don't want to hook up with a guy that you don't know. There it is. What answer are you expecting anyone to give you? 2
Redhead14 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 You absolutely did the right thing. Do not ever get into a car with a complete stranger. Do not ever go to a strangers home either. I recommend waiting until at least the 3rd meeting to ride in his car and longer to go to a guy's home. This guy is moving way too fast. Any man who approaches you like this subject to suspicion in terms of motive even if you met them in person randomly. 1
MadJackBird Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Yup First Dates should be in a public place. Just for safety wise. Even if you were interested in a quick hookup
d0nnivain Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Why are you questioning the wisdom of this decision? Pushy people who want to hook up & immediately go to their house are bad news. Even if he isn't a rapist or murderer, he's rude, entitled & has no patience or respect for you. 1
LoneIsland Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Why go to a hook up site if you don't want to hook up ?
CharlieFox Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Why go to a hook up site if you don't want to hook up ? Question of the decade.. Most women use hook-up sites and apps to boost their confidence and nothing more. It's funny when they start complaining about guys who are actually looking to hook up...
mammasita Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 You made the best decision since you just pooped a cold sore. Wait until that heals. 1
somedude81 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 How is this even a question? Why would you ever think you made a mistake in not sleeping with a stranger?
Redhead14 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 XOBeauty, how old are you? I don't mean that in a snide way. It sounds like you are young yet. I recommend you establish boundaries for yourself in general first. You are asking a very fundamental question that an adult would just know. If you are older than say, 18, you should know this intuitively. Be careful. Safety first.
ThisisIt606 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 of course you did the right thing! His request is ridiculous, insulting, disrespectful, and just plain insane. He was just throwing stuff at the fan, seeing what he could get away with. Your are noone's object, you (all women) deserve to have a relationship where the guy actually wants to get to know you instead of just your lady bits.
Purepony Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Is this really a thread? Hurry call hum back the offer might still be on the table haha I'm kidding
stillafool Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 This OP constantly starts threads and never responds back. WTF?
somedude81 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 This OP constantly starts threads and never responds back. WTF? Ah, a very good observation. She has seven posts. Started seven threads.
No Limit Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Well, you surely didn't do anything wrong. There's a lot of what could have happened. You two could have started growing feelings for each other and live happily ever after. Or he could have murdered you in a dark place.
