Mizz Layta Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) I recently met a guy on face book and we exchanged numbers. He wanted to meet up so we can hangout. He told me that he is also single and looking for a girlfriend. However,I just wasn't feeling it even though we haven't met yet and his looks is not my cup of tea. I just didn't feel like meeting up with him so I told that I am not interested in anything more than just friendship. He seemed disappointed and then he told me that he was hoping to at least get a good lay out of this .Then he stopped contacting me. So my question is ,do you still go on date when you are not feeling it after meeting someone online? If you have, did things turn out like what you have expected? slizl Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Looks like you dodged a bullet with this one...I'm sure you are devistated that you didn't at least get a "good lay" out of it, lol. 3
Mrin Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 "... was hoping to at least get a good lay out of this..." Dodged a bad one there you did! Did I go out on dates even when I wasn't feeling it? Yes. I did. Most turned out like you would expect - no connection or chemistry. But a few surprised me and one turned into a 3 month whirlwind romance. I guess it all comes down to how accurate your internal barometer is. Mine is fairly accurate but not 100% so I would sometimes at least give the lady a chance with a first date/meet up. You never know... 2
d0nnivain Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I can't tell much about a person via internet only. So yes when I was on OLD I met them in person to see if anything changed. This guy's comment was very crass & I agree with whoever said you dogeed a bullet. 2
Author Mizz Layta Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 I agree with all you guys that I dodged a bullet with this one.I guess my instinct was right about this one
Assasda Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Who tells someone initially that they are looking for a girlfriend? hahahahahahaha If someone is serious too fast without knowing, they're out to con you 1
gaius Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 No, I don't go on dates when I'm not feeling it. And he might have just been being a douche since you dented his ego. I asked one girl for her mothers number a few times just to annoy her. Who knows what his true intentions were.
Keenly Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I always give a girl a girl a chance because one good date is all it takes to get my interest. Its alright this time though. This guys breath was probably awful. You can tell because there is a foot where his mouth should be.
jjtr Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I'd certainly say you dodged a bullet. Who says that without even meeting someone? Hell, who says that after meeting some right away?
travelbug1996 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 next time don't give your number out so easily. he was a stranger and not even physically your type.
