A fellow member on here commented on another thread about how she indirectly became attracted to guys by talking and getting to know them, even though at first glance, she never would have been attracted to their appearance.

I think thats why the workplace is the #1 spot for relationships. Because it forces people to interact, and get to know each other vs public venues where they look someone up and down and instantly make a judgment.

Why do I hear this over, and over, from women? They always seem so shocked that they ended up being attracted to a guy they didnt care for in initial appearance. I know some men do it too, but since I have always hung out with more men....I have very rarely found this situation to be true for them. But women on the other hand seem to bring up this topic all the time. And I guarantee theres many other women even on this message board that have done this, but wouldnt dare admit it for fear of "agreeing with a man".

You would think that once people reach their 40's (which I am) that they would loosen up a bit with how picky they are when it comes to looks, but in my experience, in my town, the women seem to be getting worse when it comes to physical traits and who they choose to date. I just dont get it.
