Potz4prez Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 So I play soccer with this girl and two of her guy friends. Being a team sport, it's impossible to get her alone to ask her out. Any suggestions on how to manage this while avoiding asking her out around the guy friends? - I have no idea if any of them are friend-zoned, and what repercussions that may bring since I kind of work with one of them. Obviously messaging her on facebook would be the easy and gutless route... but while I feel like I'm better than that, I'm having a hard time of coming up with another way.

Put some heat on it. When she turns to go after it, sprint towards the ball and be like "RACE YOU!" and then race for the ball. When you come to a stop, ask her if she wants to grab some dinner after soccer - just you and her. 1

I think I'll just have to buck up and ask her out on the field somehow. Hopefully she'll be on the opposite team incase it doesn't go well haha. Must. Resist. Urge... to facebook message.
mightycpa Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I can think of a million ways. Ask the ref to call her over after the game, and to shoo away the other players except for you. You could write her a note that says "meet me at the opposing team's goal after the game" and slip it to her in a way so that she knows you don't want her to read it out loud. Don't you guys drive or something? Offer her a ride to the game or practice. Walk up to her, and say, "I want to talk to you privately for a minute." Kick HER ball way across the field, let her run after it, then when she gets halfway, follow. A million ways.

Does that mean her guys friends won't be able to stay with her all day ? Looks like fate has given you an opening. All you need to do is find out which hospital she's at, and a bunch of grapes could do the rest.
